School Play
Chad and I went to the school play. It was Hercules (modern day adaption). Very good.
Today while pulling down the pet aisle, I happened to see some Purina One cat food that was specially formulated to help cats with their urinary problems. It claimed to lower the pH of cat urine. But, urine usually has a pH value of 4.5 to 8.0, so I wonder what would happen if I fed it to a cat without urine that was more basic than acidic... My assumption is that the cat would start excreting something with the pH of vinegar (3.5).
As part of my long term goals (hehe... goals are good), I have undertaken a campaign to gain weight! I shall accomplish this through eating atleast one Twinkie a day. That's 160 calories of yumminess. Mmm... preservatives! I estimate it shall take awhile for the Twinkies to take effect, but after they do, I shall look something like the diagram below. I expect the drawing to be accurate, perhaps not to scale, though.
I really wanted to do something today. My subconscious, however, worked against me as it woke me up at noon. Well, there goes all my "what if's" for the day. I feel unwanted, even by my own self. Not a fun feeling. Combined with my lack of sociability, and you have the receipe for hermitism (albeit a very sad hermitage). Now I just need a cave and a smelly old robe, then I can truly be a hermit.
If you haven't received a picture from me in your email, or haven't been shown one that shows off my great MS Paint skills, then I either forgot you, or don't want to make you one :P It's possible that I ran out of time, too. Just yell here if you really really want some artwork :)
Well, we competed at the Boone Quiz Bowl today. Failed miserably. They had way too many questions dealing with African-American women and their Pulitzer Prizes, way too many questions about the US Cabinet, and way to many questions involving people in the Iowa legislature. Apart from the large proportion of art, poety, literature, and music (old music) questions, it was decent. Then there was that Boone kid who jumped out of his seat several times...
